Heaven's Gate, North Ridge, and Summit chairlifts have been placed on wind hold, but we've opened Inverness, all within the past hour, or so. Without much wind below the peaks, that's where you'll still find the nicest skiing and riding. We'll continue to update any changes to everything currently open or on hold.

Cast your vote for what will excite you most today: a) 48-hour snowstorm just getting going; b) $20 All Mountain lift ticket for college students showing valid current i.d.; c) $30 Thursday Mt. Ellen lift tickets for all (and don't forget to check out the awesome, biggest, baddest, Riemergasse Terrain Park ever, just opened yesterday); d) Long Trail specials and free appetizers provided by Cabot Cheese and Vermont Smoke and Cure, plus live music starting at 3:00 PM today at Mt. Ellen's Green Mt. Lounge; e) packing your bags for a holiday weekend visit to Sugarbush; or, of course, the correct answer...f) all of the above! We're lovin' the 2"+ of new snow already reported, and the anticipation of continued powder and packed powder conditions across today's 69 open trails. Racer's Edge, Spring Road, and Lower Snowball have opened today, and with this new snow, stay tuned for those that may be next! Groomers laid nice stripes on 36 cruisers, but aren't too upset they're no longer visible (nice job on season's first groom on Snowball, guys).

Lift Tickets and Schedule

Today: 10 lifts opened as scheduled at 9:00 AM. Three are currently on wind hold, but we've added Inverness at Mt. Ellen for a new option. Last rides on upper mountain chairs can be claimed until 3:45 PM, and 4:00 PM is closing time for base area lifts.

All Mountain lift tickets: Adult - $83; Youth (ages 7-18) - $63; Senior (70+) - $56; kids 6 and under always ski and ride for free at Sugarbush. Here's another reminder about today's specials: $20 All-Mountain tickets for college students with current, valid ID; and $30 Thursday for all, at Mt. Ellen! Additional pricing for Mt. Ellen, half-day, multi-day tickets, and more may be found on our website or at our lift ticket windows.

Additional Notes, Events, & Adventures:

Ellen and Lincoln Peak base areas, in addition to the Riemergasse Park. First-timers: take advantage of our special $29 lesson, lift, and rental price throughout January (non-holiday)!
