Good morning everybody and happy College Week #2! We are looking to kick if off with a great day of skiing and riding on 31 trails covering 239 acres of skiable terrain on machine groomed/manmade/frozen granular snow surface. The forecast is calling for a beautiful day with highs in the low 20’s up top and high 20’s around the base area under partly-mostly sunny skies.

All open terrain was groomed last night accept for Fallen Timbers which has been skiing marvelously recently with some great bumps forming over on North Face. We’re making snow on more than 121 acres right now including three trails on Sunbrook as we push to open all four mountain faces. With our fantastic grooming and all this snowmaking, this is looking to be a day that will change your opinion of Mondays because it’s going to be a good one.

As we start off College Week #2 there’s all sorts of fun things on tap for our friends taking a break from their higher education starting tonight with a welcome party at Cuzzins from 4-7pm. There’ll music, trivia and fun for the 18+ crowd. It’s not too late to book your one night stand for this week starting at just $85 per person!

Over at Carinthia our crew of rangers will be working on building The Junkyard so that will be closed for skiing and riding today. You heard it right. Not only do we have the most freestyle terrain open in New England, but we’re constantly freshening things up with re-builds and new parks. No wonder Carinthia is the number one terrain park in the East.

Lifts will spin from 9am-4pm and lift tickets today will be at regular midweek rates ($75 adults ages 19-64, $58 youth ages 6-18 and seniors 65+) but you would only pay half that at the ticket window with your Fan Fare Card! Our tubing hill will be open from 11am-5pm for your sliding pleasure.
