Good afternoon! Today has been a great day for snowmaking and things are only looking better for this weekend. We are expecting 2-4 inches of new snow tonight with the potential for another few inches tomorrow night! We’ll be assisting this storm with Vermont’s most powerful snowmaking system for as long as possible with our efforts still focused on resurfacing open terrain. Big thanks go out to our groomers and snowmakers who have been working tirelessly to keep our mountain in the best condition possible! As of this afternoon Cascade and Canyon had some of the best snow so I think I will head there first thing tomorrow followed by a few runs at Sunbrook.
Tomorrow we plan to have 46 trails on 318 acres of skiable terrain on all four of our mountain faces. Look for Ego Alley and Exhibition to re-open tomorrow with fresh corduroy! The groomers will be out tonight on about 37 trails leaving a few trails with bumps and natural conditions for tomorrow.
Tubing will be open on Mixing Bowl tomorrow from 11am until 7pm. Take a break from mid-day skiing or finish off the day when your legs just can’t handle anymore, either way there is lots of fun to be had!
The forecast for tomorrow is calling for highs in the low teens at the base and summit with light-moderate winds. Saturday is looking like we will have temperatures on either side of 20 degrees at the base and summit with light-moderate winds again with light snow in the morning!
Lifts will spin from 9am to 4pm tomorrow with lift tickets at regular midweek rates. Don’t forget you can save on your lift tickets by purchasing them in advance online!
If you’re looking for a midweek getaway, now is the time to book your stay at Mount Snow with ski and stay rates starting at just $79 per person!
