Mount Snow - The Gateway to Vermont - is located in Southern Vermont along the historic Route 100 and offers skiers and riders a quick trip to one of Vermont's oldest and innovative resorts. Founded in 1954 by ski Hall of Famer, Walter Schochenct, Mount Snow quickly became one of the most reckognizable ski resorts in the world. Today, Mount Snow features four unique mountain faces each with it's own identity and features. Mount Snow also boasts one of the most powerful, and energy efficient snowmaking systems in the country with over 250 SMI Fan Guns scattered across our 'Premium' trails.
